RKL eSolutions, a provider of ERP software and IT consulting based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is acquiring Wisconsin-based Chortek LLP’s Sage practice, including Sage 100, Sage 50 and Sage BusinessWorks, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
RKL eSolutions is the technology arm of RKL LLP, a Top 60 Firm with offices in Pennsylvania and other states. The acquisition enhances RKL eSolutions’ existing Sage practice by adding an extensive range of product expertise to the expanded client base.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RKL LLP employs 611 people, over 100 of whom work for RKL eSolutions. Firm-wide there are over 50 partners. Four team members are joining RKL eSolutions from Chortek, including Steve Krueger, principal in charge of the business software consulting practice.

Krueger has over 35 years of experience and expertise in ERP software and specializes in manufacturing and distribution companies, helping them with system selection, Sage 100 review and recommendations, and consulting for Sage 100 and related products. He will join RKL eSolutions, along with team members Sue Wolf, Debby Hanson and Debra Scheider.

RKL eSolutions is not acquiring all of Chortek, only its Sage practice. Customers of the firm’s other accounting and consulting practices will still receive those services from them.
