IASB to publish proposed IFRS update

The International Accounting Standards Board announced it will be publishing IFRS Accounting Taxonomy 2024—Proposed Update 3 IFRS 19 “Subsidiaries without Public Accountability: Disclosures,” “Amendments to the Classification and Measurement of Financial Instruments” and “Annual Improvements” on Thursday.

The document, available to download on the IFRS open for comment section and the project page here, is also available for comment from those who have an IFRS Foundation account. Registration for an account can be completed here.

While the IFRS stated it does its best to align with this scheduled publication date of Aug. 29, circumstances could cause the date to change.
