The deadline for submissions for Accounting Today’s and Best Companies Group’s annual ranking of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For is fast approaching, with the final date for signing up being this Friday, May 29.

The list, which ranks the best workplaces in the accounting profession across the country and is now in its 19th year, will be released later in 2026, with the annual report appearing in the September issue of Accounting Today.
Members of the Best Firms list are also eligible for our annual Best Firms for Women and Best Firms for Young Accountants rankings, which come out in October and November, respectively.
Applicants must be U.S. accounting firms with at least 15 staff members that have been in business for at least one year. For more details, and to participate, visit
The Best Firms are chosen based on a management survey of their HR practices, and on the results of an anonymous survey of staff members.
The deadline for registration to participate is May 29.
