Tesla’s bitter labour dispute with Swedish unions has escalated further after a union in neighbouring Denmark said it would take sympathy action to stop the US electric cars reaching Sweden.
Denmark’s largest union 3F said on Tuesday that its dockworkers and drivers would no longer transport Teslas bound for Sweden.
Swedish union IF Metall is locked in an increasingly bitter dispute with Tesla over the US carmaker’s refusal to sign a collective agreement. The conflict has now spread to a third country, as Norwegian dockworkers also said they would refuse to unload Teslas destined for Sweden.
