Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Burgmaier Group announced it completed a merger with tax firm Balise PC, effective January 1.

The transaction strengthens Burgmaier’s tax capabilities and expands its client base in the region. Balise will service clients under the Burgmaier name.

Burgmaier Group provides tax, accounting, payroll and advisory services to businesses and individuals throughout New Mexico, California and other areas. It reported $3.5 million in revenue, with two partners and 20 total employees.
Also based in Albuquerque, Balise offers tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses, specializing in industries like construction, dentists, healthcare, hospitality, law firms, manufacturers and real estate. It was founded by CPA Daniel Balise.
