CBIZ launches AI solution for middle market

Top 10 firm CBIZ announced the release of a new AI solution, Vertical Vector AI, developed specifically for middle-market businesses. 

The solution integrates with major platforms, including Microsoft Azure AI technologies, by leveraging a company’s existing infrastructure, security protocols and Microsoft tenant, connecting directly to proprietary datasets so the AI experience remains protected and under the organization’s control. It also analyzes internal business documents proprietary to the organization and transforms them into outputs without the need to edit, structure or translate AI responses. Vertical Vector AI also includes a pre-built prompt library that lets people get immediate results, positioned for prompt enablement customized to a business and its industry.

The solution can be accessed via web interfaces like many public models, or incorporated into a Microsoft Teams environment, which gives professionals the ability to interface in real-time with the model in the manner that they already interact with human peers. CBIZ also offers a structured implementation of the Vertical Vector AI platform, beginning with a short test deployment and scaling up to full launch within weeks.

Following its acquisition of Marcum last year, CBIZ has begun centralizing its disparate technology services offerings under Scauvzzo’s department. The new office, focused more on technology-centered client service offerings than internal IT operations more associated with the CIO, was formally established at the beginning of this year, and started integrating groups into its structure in February. The very first action was bringing together the data analytics groups from both firms, so they could operate as a single team. The model decided upon by the firm was that if the deliverable is rooted in technology, it will be aggregated into a single portfolio of technology services. Doing so allows CBIZ to offer a wide range of technology services. This includes the obvious areas such as IT infrastructure management as well as cybersecurity, including governance, risk controls, penetration testing and managed security.
