Innova advises hospitals and health systems nationwide. The transaction adds nine executives, nearly 50 employees and a new office in Tucson, Arizona.

“We are always looking for opportunities to meet our clients’ evolving needs, and bringing Innova on board will do just that for our health care clients,” Forvis Mazars CEO Tom Watson said in a statement Monday. “By adding these additional focused advisory capabilities, we are deepening our support of organizations as they navigate complex decisions and prepare for what’s next.”

David Tate, managing partner of Forvis Mazars’ health care consulting platform, commented, “Innova brings a strong mix of strategy, finance and facility-planning capabilities that complement and enhance our current service offerings.”

Forvis and Mazars restructured in June 2025 to create a global accounting network now called Forvis Mazars. Forvis was formed only two years previously through the merger of two Top 20 Firms, BKD CPAs & Advisors and Dixon Hughes Goodman. Its U.S. firm ranked No. 9 on Accounting Today‘s 2025 Top 100 Firms list, recently reporting $2.24 billion in revenue for 2025, up 4% year-over-year.

“We are expanding the experience and insights available to our clients and providing additional pathways for our team members to advance their careers,” Peter Trice, founding partner of The Innova Group, said in a statement. “This move continues our legacy of service excellence through Forvis Mazars’ Unmatched Client Experience approach.”

In September 2024, Forvis Mazars added a new construction technology services practice after acquiring ConTech360 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Two months later, it expanded in Florida by acquiring MSL, with offices in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee.
