Franklin Alliance, a venture capital-backed company that helps small and midsized firms scale, acquired Cincinnati-based Howard, Nunn & Bloom.

The firm has serviced clients across medical and dental, restaurants, transportation and logistics, construction, real estate investors and service-based businesses for over 35 years. It has more than 15 employees.
Franklin Alliance also announced Randy Crabtree and Jon Segal joined its strategic advisory board, which already includes Rick Deher, Allan Koltin, Kimi Ellen and others. Crabtree is the cofounder of Tri-Merit and host of The Unique CPA podcast. He’s been featured on Accounting Today’s
