Halfpricesoft, an accounting and payroll solutions provider, announced the latest version of its ezW2Correction software, which is intended to assist with file corrections for years 2015 to 2025 tax forms at one flat rate.

The new version, among other things, now allows clients to import correction data directly from a CSV file or from an existing e-file document, significantly reducing manual entry and processing time. Meanwhile, it also now features a new efile direct service add-on service, which will be needed if 10 or more returns will be processed. The new version can also print SSA-approved W-2C (copy 1, 2, A, B, C and D) and W3C on plain white paper, as well as convert recipient copies into PDF format to email it to recipients. If pre-printed forms are the preferred method of processing W2 and W3 correction forms, ezW2Correction can also fill data on pre-printed forms. ezW2Correction can support unlimited forms, unlimited recipients and unlimited companies with no extra charge.
“Our goal is to make correction filing as simple and stress-free as possible,” said Mark Ge, founder of Halfpricesoft.com, in a statement. “With new CSV and e-file import options in ezW2Correction, both returning and new customers can correct forms faster, reduce errors, and file with confidence.”
It is $49.00 for the Single-user basic version, which lets users print and mail W2C and W3C. Meanwhile, the Enterprise Efile Version costs $169 and allows users to print and mail, efile documents, import both W2 Previous and Corrected Data from csv file, and import data from W2 efile documents.
The release comes just a few months after the company launched its ez1099 2025 solution for the preparation, printing and e-filing of essential IRS forms for businesses and tax professionals. The solution offers e-filing capacities for Forms W2, 1099 and 1099-DA for digital assets. It supports an unlimited number of companies with one flat rate for all filing needs. For those who want to physically mail returns or otherwise hold onto them for safekeeping, the solution also allows users to print forms on paper. They can generate PDF copies for recipients, or create IRS FIRE system e-file documents using their Transmitter Controller Code.
