PKFOD adds Bowman & Company

PKF O’Connor Davies, a Top 25 Firm based in New York, has merged in Bowman & Company, a firm with three offices in Southern New Jersey and a specialty in municipal and governmental accounting, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Bowman & Company dates back to 1939 and includes 100 professionals and 20 partners across offices in Voorhees, Haddonfield and Woodbury, New Jersey. The firm’s professionals hold a variety of government-specific accounting credentials, including Registered Municipal Accountants, Public School Accountants and Certified Municipal Finance Officers. Along with the public sector, Bowman & Co. also has clients in the not-for-profit, construction, health care and professional services industries.

“Bowman & Company’s 86-year legacy of excellence, community commitment and expert insights make them a natural partner for our growing firm,” said PKF O’Connor Davies CEO Kevin J. Keane in a statement Monday. “As we continue to strategically expand our footprint in key markets, we look forward to leveraging their expertise, strengthening our capabilities and driving greater value for every client we serve.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PKFOD ranked No. 25 on Accounting Today‘s 2025 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $410 million in annual revenue, over 200 partners, more than 1,200 employees and 19 offices.

“The Bowman & Company team is thrilled to join PKF O’Connor Davies,” said Bowman managing partner Harry P. Wills III, in a statement. “This partnership represents a transformative opportunity to align our deep public sector expertise with PKF O’Connor Davies’ national platform, resources and innovative approach to client service.”

In 2024, PKFOD announced that it had received funding from Investcorp, a global alternative investment firm, and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, one of Canada’s largest pension investment managers. Last month, PKFOD acquired Wolf Maryles & Associates in New York City. In June, it merged in Rainer & Co. in Philadelphia. In 2024, PKFOD merged in Robert Philipson & Co. in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 2023, PKF O’Connor Davies merged in Archambault & Associates in Wakefield, Massachusetts. In 2022, PKFOD added Judelson, Giordano and Siegel in Middletown and Poughkeepsie, New York, and Simon, Tapper, Edelman & Wilner in Hackensack, New Jersey. In 2021, it acquired LB Goodman & Co. in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and DGC LLP in Boston.
