Rosen, Sapperstein and Friedlander LLC, a Regional Leader based in Towson, Maryland, is buying Mister, Burton & Associates LLC, a firm based in Cockeysville, Maryland, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
The acquisition will add six partners and directors to RS&F. MBA offers audit, tax, accounting and management advisory services for businesses, business owners, and high net worth individuals. Both firms provide advisory services.

We’re excited to continue on a trajectory of growth and have their exceptional employees join our dynamic team.”

The deal is part of RS&F’s plan to expand its people and services within its target client base through selective investment in organic business development and complementary acquisitions.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. MBA has a total of 21 team members, including three partners, while RS&F has 94 team members and five partners. RS&F ranked No. 17 on Accounting Today‘s 2023 Regional Leaders list of the Top Firms in the Capital Region, with $16 million in annual revenue.
