RRBB, a Regional Leader based in Somerset, New Jersey, has added Kleespies, Horwitz & Associates, based in Clark, New Jersey, and introduced Superior Payroll LLC, a new payroll service line affiliated with KHA.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RRBB ranked No. 2 on Accounting Today‘s Regional Leaders list for the Mid-Atlantic Region, with $37.57 million in annual revenue, approximately 26 partners and over 100 employees. The deal with KHA adds 12 employees. RRBB is also a member of the Crete Professionals Alliance, a national network of accounting firms.

KHA dates back to 1994, when it was known as Kleespies & Associates LLC; in 2006, Allorto Fox & Co. LLC joined Kleespies & Associates to provide expanded services in the estate planning and administration area. In December, 2014, Horwitz & Associates, PC joined the firm and it changed its name to Kleespies, Horwitz & Associates LLC. The firm provides services such as tax management and accounting as well as financial statement preparation, business consulting and estate and tax planning.

“When we looked for a firm to join forces with, we wanted a partner who shared our values, our commitment to quality, and our personal approach to client service,” said KHA founder Paul Kleespies in a statement Tuesday. “RRBB checks every box. We explored other opportunities, but this is the one that felt right. Our team is excited to continue serving our clients with the same care and expertise, now with even more resources through RRBB.”

RRBB, short for Rosenberg Rich Baker Berman P.A., added Gail Rosen CPA PC in Martinsville, New Jersey, earlier this year. Last year,  Mendonca & Partners in Union, New Jersey, and Skwiersky Alpert & Bressler in New York City united under the RRBB brand, supported by their strategic capital and growth partner, Crete Professionals Alliance.
