Ms Eastwood, who is also on the board of industry group UKHospitality, added: “Many of our businesses in UK hospitality and leisure are still reeling from Covid-related debt, higher interest rates are diverting cash away from investing in the business, but as importantly, it’s about consumer confidence.”
