Weaver is acquiring Mass Ingenuity’s enterprise performance management platform and its related intellectual property. The deal expands Weaver’s consulting capabilities as it services both the public and private U.S. sectors.

“This transaction reflects our continued investment in technology‑forward consulting services that help organizations improve performance and execution,” John Mackel, CEO and managing partner at Weaver, said in a statement. “Mass Ingenuity strengthens our ability to support clients with enterprise performance management solutions that are scalable, data‑driven and aligned with their strategic objectives.”

Moving forward, the SaaS platform will operate as a separate Weaver legal entity and will continue operating under the Mass Ingenuity name for the time being.

“We’re proud of what Mass Ingenuity has achieved over 17 years and the impact we have made for our clients,” Aaron Howard, cofounder of Mass Ingenuity, said in a statement. “Weaver allows us to scale what we’ve built, combine our platform with deep advisory capabilities and move even faster to deliver a new level of support for the organizations we serve.”

Weaver is based in Houston and ranked No. 29 on Accounting Today‘s  2026 Top 100 Firms list. It reported $383.5 million in revenue, with 196 partners and over 1,500 total staff across 21 offices.

Weaver acquired Buchbinder Tunick & Co. in New York, in January 2024. In June 2023, it merged in HKG LLP in Pasadena, California. In November 2022, it added PRM CPAs + Advisors, a firm in Lafayette, Louisiana and Houston. In March 2022, it acquired Levine & Seltzer in New York City. And in December 2021, it added PJ LLP in Los Angeles.
